Application to aid Group Decision Making, SAP® Streamwork™
I recently signed up to a Beta project from SAP called 12sprints which has now developed into SAP® Streamwork™. Any product developed by SAP is bound to be solid. So far it looks easy to use, functional etc. However Streamwork™ essentially targets group decision making, helping managers make better decisions (which is a hefty research topic in itself).
Features include:
- Coordinating (Agenda, Responsibility Matrices, Time Management , Timeline)
- Deciding (Consensus, Decision, Pro/Con Table, Quick Poll, Ranking)
- Analysing (Cost/Benefit Analysis, PICK Matrix, Product Portfolio, Stakeholder Analysis, SWOT Analysis)
Many skeptics disregard computer knowledge based systems as a viable solution, for now anyway. However I think there is a consensus that using computer based applications to aid group decision making is valuable to the decision making process. So it’s going to be interesting to see how Streamwork™ is received.
